Motorola ROKR W5 mobile phone
With all the ferocious activity going on around them, Motorola have stepped up their game and put themselves back firmly in the lime light.
The next handset on their list of outstanding new introductions, is the Motorola ROKR W5, a Music Phone that makes up part of their new W Series ROKR range.
Definitely a ROKR and not a RAZR, the Motorola W5 ROKR features a new ROKR logo re-affirming its position as a ROKR.
Having revamped the ROKR design, the Motorokr w5 is based more on the KRZR than previous ROKR's.
Featuring a striking Orange and Black design, this Quad Band GSM handset supports GRPS and EDGE technology, Bluetooth Wireless with A2DP Stereo Support and the all essential miniUSB for synchronisation between mobile and PC or Laptop.
Motorola appear to have gone to great lengths to rid themselves of the stigma of old fashioned designs by pulling themselves into the present and striving forward with futuristic designs.
With a bit more work needed to improve the 1.3 mega pixel camera on this phone, Motorola have certainly made a huge improvement with this handset.
The internal display measures a good 1.9 inches, the external is 96 x 85 pixels and the built-in memory is 20Mb with optional expansion using microSD.
As a music phone, the Motorola ROKR W5 with its Media Player and dedicated music control keys wouldn't be complete without 3G, or so rumour has it.
