Motorola Z8m mobile phone
The Motorola Z8m is officially an upgraded version of the RIZR Z8.
Making up part of Motorola's roadmap for 2008, the Motorola Z8m features the same banana like sliding design mechanism that was debuted by the Motorola RIZR Z8, referred to as a 'kick slider' and hosts the same standard feature set.
But, and there's always a but! In addition to the Quad band GSM with GPRS and EDGE, the Motorola Z8m has the added advantage of offering HSDPA capability at speeds of up to 7.2Mbps as opposed to the 3.6Mbps capable with the RIZR Z8.
The memory capacity has also been given a boost offering as much as 4GB's using the microSD card slot with an 80MB internal memory.
Besides this though, the spec remains pretty much unchanged with a 2 mega pixel camera that includes a built-in flash, video capture & playback, secondary videocall camera and a music player that will not only support MP3 audio file formats but AAC and AAC+.
Stereo bluetooth always comes in handy as does USB connectivity for PC synchronisation plus the phonebook is practically unlimited in terms of how many contacts it will hold.
Full PIM functionality includes an organizer, calculator and alarm clock whilst the 2.2" QVGA display negates the need for squinting when reading texts, dialling numbers, checking emails and surfing online.
